Description

Rich, creamy chocolate cottage cheese ice cream made with just 5 simple ingredients — high-protein and guilt-free.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter (optional for creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until completely smooth — about 30 to 45 seconds — to get a mousse-like consistency.
  3. Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container.
  4. Freeze for 4–6 hours or overnight.
  5. Let it sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping.

Notes

Use a high-speed blender for best texture. Add chocolate protein powder for extra protein. Blend well to avoid grainy texture. Optional: freeze in individual mason jars for easy single servings.
